hello readers from World Wide Web, this blog will be about my study in animation, currently I'm in the 2nd year of my study and have completely switched where I want to go with my future.
On 21 August 2023 I started my first schoolday of studying animation and film and since that day I've been surrounded by the most amazing people from my lovely friends to inspiring teachers. halfway trough the year we got our first class in 3D animation and even though it was hard to understand (stil is) I loved it.
Soon after the rise of AI generation began and I started losing motivation, why study animation of my degree wil become useless later? that's the moment I switched from focussing on 2D to focussing onto 3D so that after study I can continue studying in 3D. I've already looked for study for game artists and with my animation degree I'll know how to ring and texture models and make perfect animated cutscene's.
3D is also importend for the visual effects in movies, music clips and many more. you might wonder, whats the differents between special effects and visual effects? Wel I wondert this to and its pretty simple, specials effects are real, so real explosions en a fake head. while visual effects are post-producing so instead of a fake head out of clay it would be a 3d modelled head. pretty easy right?
