Animation,
greetings, my name is Louise Vink and I'll be writing this blog about the differents types of animation there are and what type of animation I offer.
2D Animation
2D animation is the oldest form of animation. The first few animations were created between 1890-1900. But what kind of animations are there?
-Vector, vector is made out of simple shapes that together create art, no matter how much you zoom in it wil always stay sharp without going pixelated. This form of animation is mostly used in cartoons.
-Classic 2D, this is simple drawing after drawing without tweeting just pose after pose. This is the most time consuming because you have to make hundreds of drawing for just a couple of seconds.
-Rotoscoping, this is basically tracing over real filmed footage.
-Flip book animation, this is one we all know by drawing pose for pose and flipping the pages fast we see our creation move.
3D Animation
3D was created in 1960 and since then has only improved. 3d animation isn't only cartoony children films but is also used for special effects in your favourite movie from a dragon flying over a castle to a simple water plash. Also cutscene's in videogames fall under 3D animation.
Stopmotion
stop motion is the illusion of movement by showing images quickly after each other. this can be done with real people but also with clay making claymations. Or just simple paper or dolls, you can use everything to make art!
The Animations I make:
-2D Animations:
Vector, Classic 2D
-3D Animations:
Special effects, character creation, rigging, Animation.
-Stopmotion:
-depends on the assignment.
